Hello all, This forum seems to work ok, because there are many interesting posts, which is the most important. However the (web-only) interface is very clumsy. It could easily be improved. The most important suggestion is this: e-mail each message to the members. With a simple "in-box rule" we then can transport the messages to a map "CCC" on our computer at home. And voila, as good as a real newsgroup! Of course the current web-interface can be maintained, as archive, where you can check if a message is really posted. For a very good example of how this could work, take a look at www.egroups.com. This is a place where everyone can start his own mailinglist. It too has a web based interface, but the members of a group can choose for e-mailing the messages. Moderating is supported very well too. If the messages can be mailed to a moderator, they can as wel be sent to everyone, no? A second suggestion is the possibility to search for messages a la deja. Regards, Bas Hamstra.
