In addition to the 7-day free trial, there apparently is a 30-day free trial for
USCF members. The following was given after typing HELP USCF when logged in:

One Month Trial Offer for USCF Members
--------------------------------------

US Chess Federation members who have never been a member of the Internet Chess
Club qualify for a free one month trial on the ICC (compared with the usual
7-day free trial for non-USCF members).

To obtain your one-month free trial, get your USCF ID number, expiration date,
and 5-digit ICC PIN number from your mailing label on your Chess Life Magazine
or your School Mates Magazine. Then register on the ICC web page at
http://www.chessclub.com or type "register" when you are logged on as a guest on
the ICC.
[Type "more" to see more.]
mo

Answer the registration questions, and enter the USCF mailing label information.
You will then receive your ICC password at the email address you give in your
registration. Download the ICC software from our web page (Blitzin if you have
a PC with Windows) and login to the ICC using the software and your registered
handle and password.
