This type of problems seem to occur equally often in Windows.  I have never
been able to make my soundcard (Soundblaster 32 PnP) work in Win95, but it
was easy to set up (and works flawlessly) in Linux...

My graphics card (Matrox Millennium) is also a problem.  In Win95, I have not
found out how to use the resolution 1152x864 (I have to use 1024x768).  In
Linux, however, the 1152x864 resolution worked directly after installation.
