You missed his sarcasm. His point was that lots of people are playing games and using inefficient set-ups (two programs on one machine, pondering disabled, oddball books, books developed for another program, etc) yet they report the games as though they really mean something. He was just pointing out that if you try hard enough, you can corrupt any program to the point that you can get the result you want...
