For example, the 6666 settings seem to be worse than standard 6000 at faster time controls (Didzis tried it against 6000-SS10 on a slower machine and it got slaughtered). Especially the "DEEP" variant (with SS=32 and max depth=64) played *very* bad at Blitz. Just like 5555 which is awesome for 40/120 on machines around 233 MHz but only above average at 40/120 on the fastest systems. So you could say 6666 is optimized for longer time controls on very fast machines. I.e. you probably will get (much?) worse results if you play 30/game on a 200 MHz machine with it etc. --- Shep
