This makes no sense.  If you want to make the engine stronger, what good is that
if it can't avoid losing on time?  The clock has been an integral part of the
game for too long to ignore it.  Managing time is one aspect of chess.  It isn't
a superfluous point, it is a critical issue.

_everyone_ plays with a chess clock...

I can outplay _anyone_ for one move... if I use the entire time limit for that
one search. But it doesn't do a lot of good to operate like that...
