After loosing some 2 or 3 games against unrated "grandmasters" like the one James mentioned on ICC with computer account I sometimes asked something like : "is it possible that you used a chess program to assist you to play ?" after a game , when I saw something like the time management mentioned in your response. The interesting fact is : none of them ever got upset or angry ; I only saw two effects : either they suddenly lost all their abilities and began to blunder a lot or I saw them having a (C) some weeks later . For sure this has nothing to do with James' opponent who might be extremely honourable. But to my experience : it is true that minor IMs, FMs or players with 2200 sometimes can spank chessprogs very well , but to my experience they also loose several games in the meantime by tactical blunders , especially under blitz time controls. pete
