I generally try to stay out of these 'conversations' as they rarely lead to
anything I want to do...  But I would suggest that you have something that is
really seriously wrong, somewhere.  Whether it is a bogus crafty.rc with a
time or depth limit that is wrong, or a bogus hash size that is making it page
like mad, I don't know.  But with a nearly 2-1 time advantage, there is no
program I know of that will do much better than break even, unless something
is wrong.

If you haven't turned log=off, then send me a log file or two and I can spot
what is going on immediately if it is playing that badly...
