I wouldn't worry about not having it since there's so much great stuff that you can get. It would be easier to try the programs that are available and you havn't tried yet. Ychess for example, great program. Or Dchess or Dragon (see Frank Quinsinsky's Winboard pages). But LGoliath 2000 is only available as a Fritz engine now :-( Pete
