Well you can go via the list put out by the SSDF, But this is incomplete, because programs such as Rebel and Chessmaster (even though in the list), are not played as much due to the non appearence of an autoplayer. So any of the top 5 programs on the SSDF list and Rebel 10 are good enough. But many people like to think Fritz 5.32 is about the best. So go with that. If money is a problem wait a short while and CM7000 will be out.
