Hello Peter,
When the patch first came out, KomputerKorner or whatever he called himself came
out with a series of steps to follow when starting CM6000 the first time which
made the 7-14 day thing work.  His procedure worked for me.  I've since
forgotten what it was though.  It involved starting the thing one time but
shutting it down before getting past the intro or something like that.  Anyway I
still have to put the CD in every week or so but not every time.
