There are quite a few "weaker" chess engines. You could try either LDBlanche,
Skaki, Faile, DChess or Rival. Some have reservations about Rival, but it has
it's own GUI and you can play other chess variants as well. There's also a new
one called Jester, which is an applet for Netscape or IE. Try them out and
see...
