Correction on this Fischer Spassky analogy: Fischer defaulted only the second game by not showing up. Another silly analogy would be, if a person beats a computer when the electricity in the house goes out for 2 hours should we count that game in estimating our playing strength? >Let's toss this Hoffman game out.
