I have seen an old book, whose tittle was something like: "Chess skill in man and machine." MY GREAT(?!) SUGGEST: Guys, how about writing one? I know, it'ld be big job for one individual, but we have here several professionals, and it could be written with "parallel method". We could together first make up a list of contents (both you experts and us amateurs) and then each expert could write only some chapters, which they find the most interesting. Furthermore: it doesn't necessarily have to be printed, but put to some www-site. And it could be long time job. First only the index plus some chapters, and new text could be easily added, when someone writes something new to it. And later it could be thought whether it could be printed to a book too. I certainly would buy one! Think about it. Jari
