Apparently Rebel and some others like the AMD processors. However, Crafty and others greatly prefer the Intel processors. In general performance, I think the Intel processors (if one excludes the Athlon, which is the fastest) are quite a bit faster in floating-point operations. The difference in integer calculation is probably very small. Jeremiah
