I understood the point you made and it is stored in my hash tables :)

No need to view a log-file. The annotation symbols are added to your moves in
the move-list right? If so you know you have made a bad move and isn't that
what you wanted?

I think this is not true or we have a little misunderstanding. When you have
"automatic annotation" set to be active annotations are automatically added
while playing your games. If you save the game then the annotations are
automatically stored in the database. If you load the game again the
annotations are also loaded and visible (in the move-list) for the end-user.

HINT: why don't you mark your lost or remarkable games? It's all possible
with the FREE-INDEX (IX4) of Rebel. When you save your game and you are
asked for the FREE-INDEX then type "BLUNDER" (or so). When you want the
game back pick "List by Free Index" from the menu SEARCHING or use "Search
IX4" and type "BLUNDER". All your games you have marked with "BLUNDER" are
now displayed.
