Subject: Running a 5-man tablebase

I tried to get a 5-man tablebase solution both from Hierarcs 7.32 and from CB7.0
  (R+ P vs.; B + P). I definite had the tablebases loaded properly with the
right path in the Cbase.ini file. But after 20 minutes of looking, Hierarcs 7.32
showed no solution. I gave up after 5 minutes in CB7.0

Is it possible that it could take a long time to find the right table base file
and then display the mate (or draw) in, say, 43 moves; or is 20 minutes without
a solution indicative of some other problem?
