The first one is accepted, and a new game is started. However, the second 'resign' command is still in the buffer, and gets sent at the beginning of this game. I've even seen this happen on FICS sometimes playing a long lightning match - one program will resign at the beginning of a game, because it sent more than one resign command in the previous game. It's probably something that could easily be corrected in Winboard (if Tim is reading this :) - Just clear the pipes/buffers when a new game is started, so that old commands aren't sent. Jeremiah
