I was kinda wondering why cyclone was not on the list; however I figured you had to be above a certain rating for a certain amount of time to qualify or something. Cyclone is my chess engine playing on ICC... it is still not very good, compared to other people's code (~2100 ELO right now), but I am actively working on it so I hope to imrpove it as time goes by. I have a page up with info about the engine and a link to its source code at http://wannabe.guru.org/scott/chess.html. This is just a snapshot of the code tree so it's not very pretty. I thought it might be interesting for people who are beyond TSCP but have some trouble reading Crafty or Gnuchess (who doesn't have trouble with Gnuchess?!) because it does "advanced" things like hashing, null move, razoring, etc... Wanted to thank Andrew, Frakir, Dr. Hyatt, Vincent Diepeveen, Bruce, and everyone else around here and ICC who have helped me with ideas and advice so far. But don't stop now; I still have a ways to go! Scott
