Lin., You are right about the playing strength here. I'm having fun playing around with this machine but its play is most interesting for the many kinds of weak moves it makes. It certainly points to the huge advances made in computer chess play in the last 15-20 years, since I imagine this was one of the top commercials circa 1981. eric
