Thanks 4 quick response. I worded the post poorly. The draw by 3 rep is correct
implementation. However I would like to have the capability to continue the game
even though the game is by rules over.

All the commercial programs can override the three rep rule by option and
continue on playing with a new variation if so desired.

If I do the above change to search.c it will remove the rep check all togethar
which is just fine with me since of course I will be aware of the draw
possibility ahead of time and prior to executing the possibility of rep-3.
Will there be any migrated problems associate with the search.c change ?

Its my quirk Bob and in no way imply I imply this to be correct imlementation of
your program.

In somewhat in this same vain your program permits the game to continue even tho
the clock has expired, which I like (at least I Know it does for the opponents
clock (Crafty's clock has not expired on the dozen games I have played, so I do
not know what Crafty will do in that event.
I hope it continues to play ! Again a convience, not a rule of chess.
