i am going to guess about the effect depth has on a programs elo .since all programs do not get the same gains per ply , i will stick to one just about every one has CRAFTY . here is my guestimation . 1 ply = 1300 average beginner 2 ply = 1500 3 ply = 1600 4 ply = 1700 5 ply = 1800 club player 6 ply = 2000 expert class 7 ply = 2100 8 ply = 2300 solid master class 9 ply = 2350 10 ply = 2400 11 ply = 2425 12 ply = 2450 13 ply = 2500 14 ply = 2525 weak GM level 15 ply = 2575 16 ply = 2625 17 ply = 2650 18 ply = 2675 19 ply = 2700 super GM class 20 ply = 2725 21 ply = 2750 22 ply = 2800 23 ply = 2825 24 ply = 2850 25 ply = 2875 26 ply = 2900 beyond world champion level when i made bigger jumps i was taking into accout how hard i know a certain ply to be .any one else have any ideas on crafty's elo vs ply ???
