Right.. the thing I don't want to see happen is that a large number of programs
from one geographic area end up dictating the game times.  Just like the ECCA
WMCCC/WCCC events of the past 10 years...  IE if Peter wants to enter from NZ,
in whatever timezone he is in, does _he_ get to play at nothing but really bad
times, because he is the _only_ person in that time zone?  We want to
_encourage_ diversity and significant numbers of participation, not discourage
it.  I have great flexibility in when I play.  But I also have significant
constraints.  I can trivially leave crafty online to play, because the interface
works and doesn't 'misbehave'...  but if I have to be there and 'attentive'
while it is playing, then constraints become important...

Your last sentence "a few people..." is important.  It can't be just the ones
in odd locations that have to play at odd times.  Otherwise we lose those right
off the bat...
