I know what you mean. Although I'm a newcomer here, I've posted in other bulletin boards, newsgroups and such, and it seems that the more well-prepared your article is, the worse the response. I think a lot of people find it daunting to reply to a long posting with another long posting, and prefer just to leave it at that. And that is if they can be bothered to read to the end at all. Or if your arguments look well thought out then there's little someone else can add to them. It can be annoying at times, but maybe it's better just to accept it, enjoy contributing when you can, read what other people say, and learn more as you do it. Mike.
