Chess tiger was tested against old programs including shredder2,fritz3 and MCP6 so I do not think that other commercials could earn much rating from discovering holes in CT. I guess it was number one in the list even if top programs could play against it one year ago. I think at least half of the players tiger played against are more than one year old(I think that tiger did better results against them than other top programs) and I also do not think that programmers would waste a lot of time in preparing against tiger when they have enough problems in games against other opponents. Tiger lost only against number 2 program Fritz532(K6450) and if it wanted to be number one by auto232 marathons the most logical marathon is going to be a marathon against Fritz532 so I believe that tiger did not do maratons against other programs.
