We used to have a guy "SKIPPER" on ICC, who is (was) a real FIDE master and
USCF master.  I watched him play _several_ games vs crafty (3 0 and faster)
that went well over 250 moves.  He would lock the position (not easy to do now)
and then move very quickly and win on time.  I modified the time allocation
code to notice getting too far behind on time and speed up before it becomes
critical.

Other players (Dlugy for one) move _very_ quickly.  It is easily possible for
someone to make 90 moves in 1 minute...
