  Hi

I read the t-notes article, still I am having problems, I understand how to
use fritz to load the epd file, but my problem is in saving the epd file itself,
I am using windows98. I have tried to use the Save as command. However when I
go within the program and try to load the epd file, it doesn't show up as a epd
file? For instance on the web page that has the kaufman epd. I use the select
all command , then edit copy, then I paste onto notepad. Then I use the save as
command (example Save as Kaufman.epd) then ofcourse I save this file in my
chess directory. Yet when I start up fritz and open a database, When I get to
the step that says import
epd, for some reason the kaufman.epd file that I saved does not show up.
I then have to open up windows explorer to make sure the file is infact there.
Which it was, but it just does not show up when i open the database in fritz. I
might add that I notice that the although the file I saved has the epd extension
it looks nothing like the epd files I see within my rebel program. This tells me
something is wrong.
