Vincent,

I was wondering if you could post the PV and evaluations scores for this search.

I ran this position longer on my program, and from ply 10 to 16 it never
wanted to switch to Ra6.

I also ran it on MacChess 5.0.1 for 15 ply and it also never switched from
Rxf4 although it spent quite some time on the move Ra6 at each ply.

Below are the Scores, Node Counts, and PV's from both programs.

Screamer
Ply Depth = 16
Node Count at Depth 16 = 140544458
Score = +0.73
PV = Rxf4 exf4 Rh6+ Kg5 Rxh7 Re7 Rh5+ Kf6 g5+ Ke5 Kf3 Re8 g6 Rf8 Rh7 Re7

MacChess
Ply Depth = 15
Node Count at Depth 15 = 385709853
Score =   -17
PV = Rxf4 exf4 Rh6+ Kg5 Rh5+ Kf6 g5+ Ke5 Rxh7 Rb8 g6 Re7 Kf3 Rf8 Kg4 Rc7 g7 Re8
Rh8 Rcc8
