I see often on CCC and Rgcc people saying that they wish someone would invent a program that plays more like a human. Can someone put this is more concrete terms what is meant exactly? Do these people mean that they wish a program would be created that would commit more blunders? Or overlook simple mating combinations? Has anyone really distinquished the elements of Human play vs Computer play, or is this simply an illusion? Perhaps what we really mean by playing "humanlike" is the very "human tendency to commit gross oversights, which both grandmaster and Amatuer are guilty of at times. Any thoughts? I know there must be a difference because playing a computer feels alot different than playing a human, I guess what I am asking is for these differences to be defined.
