The latest ECTool version also has the possibility to analyze a position with Crafty ( the Dos executables) in addition to the available Rebel engines but as far as I could find out this is still very limited, regarding the analysis-capabilities by Crafty. The Rebel engines work fine. The older ECTool version 4.10 that also comes with the Rebel CD's a had a larger window for all the lines, it's a pity that that isn't there anymore, the new window is smaller. The new version, - you have to register by transferring money (15$ it was I think?) to Andres but in principle this is good for more versions -, has for instance the advantage that you can store a game with your own notes or computeranalysis for every move.
