There's odd little ways around this problem, what you can do is save the game in Sargon as a text file (you're given a choice), then in the text file, delete the board at the top of the file. Then if you're using Wordpad, in the "edit" menu, select "replace", and replace every "-" with nothing, and every "x" with nothing too, I think you have to put the "-" back into the castle moves, maybe not though. Then, you can use Crafty's "read" command to read the text game, and Crafty's "savegame" command to save it to a pgn file. And you can either use Crafty to fill in the pgn tags while you're still using it, or you can edit them in later with an editor. Here's an example of a Sargon game that I converted that way, I had Sargon set to play very easy that game.
