Why? >Thank you very much for answer! If you bought Visual Basic Learning edition then its an interpreted language and would be very slow compared to a compiled language such as C. However, if you own Visual Basic Professional Edition then you have the option to compile your programs and then they would be close in speed to compiled C. Bill
