I sadly bought a Novag Sapphire II from Chess Life about two years ago, and had nothing but problems with it, and the one Chess Life sent me for exchange. I surmise that those Sapphire's are extremely sensitive to static and you can easily render one useless through static electricity. Don't waste your money. C Morris
