Subject: I would like some serious responses please!!

  How is it possible for Hiarcs 7.0 running on a Amd K6-350 to defeat Rebel
Century running on a Athlon 800 in a six game match 4-3 ??  the extra game was
from the tie break.  I decided based on this match that I am not in any big
hurry to upgrade to a faster computer. What's surprising is that I was playing
hiarcs without the full hashtables, in windows 98 at 136k.  Time control was
game in 30. I do not believe that this match means that hiarcs7 is stronger than
Rebel at all.  I am just surprised that a machine that fast would not have
murdered me in the match.  Rebel Century is still the best program available
IMHO. If anyone shows interest I will Post the full match.
