I have nothing but good things to say about the S2, and I think it improved my game a great deal. However, you should consider the following: - The Sapphire 2 came out a few years ago. We might be past due for a Sapphire 3 (I'm inclined to suspect the we're due for a whole new generation of portable chess computers). I sent a very nice e-mail to Novag asking them about this possibility - no reply. - You need the AC adaptor. You need to get a real chess set (the folding thing is a joke). I would suggest waiting to see if anything new is on the horizon. Harpo
