Uhhhh....what comes after IM Dr. Hyatt.....GM ! Yes I know, but I think based on the "many" results coming in that the top programs are at the GM level. The hiarcs match was in a mall, with a crowd milling around. So noisy >that the IM had to wear headphones to drown out the noise/interruptions. Yes I know, but IM Hergott accepted these terms, so excuses are not acceptable. >> Also, Fritz beat Polgar recently in a match, she was ranked 16th >>in the world at that time. >Same point as above. We are talking about GM level play at 40/2hr time >controls. The polgar match wasn't 40/2hr The games were 30/30min but Fritz was a clear winner. The only way to find the TTRUTH would be to allow computer software to play in the large FIDE tournaments or Linares, Spain. Personally, I think it would help to popularize chess and chess computers, this is a WIN WIN situation for everyone, except the GM's that lose of course -:) >>Read and reflect upon the latest game analysis of Rebel vs. GM (?)
