I've got a Novag Expert c1985, and an old Fidelity. The Novag is as faithful as an old dog, just keep it in the drawer out of harm's way, as Fernando said. The Fidelity is different. I did'nt play it for about 18 months, and when I turned it on, it would'nt work. A chess products retailer told me others had the same problem. The processor ceases, through non use! And they can't be fixed, because the company has changed hands, and spare parts are'nt available. So now I've got a Fidelity doorstop. Perhaps if you just give your machines an occasional workout, they'll be ok for a long time ahead. All the best.
