You can't play those on a chess server. It played 7 games in the Pan American tournament about 3 years ago, where it went +6 =1 -0. I haven't played in any other official tournaments, as there are none that don't have (NC) that I have found. The next best thing is game/30/game/60 type events where I do about the same as the commercial programs. IE we had a 4 program vs 4 GM event on chess.net, game/30 round robin. The 4 programs finished ahead of the 4 GM players, and were pretty close overall. So 40/2 data is very scarce. And the Pan American doesn't show much as with 7 rounds the first 5 rounds are against players < 2200. You could certainly log on to ICC and look for "standard" games vs human players by both Crafty and the commercial program of your choice. Many there play regularly. You could get a comparison that way, knowing that my hardware is faster of course...
