I don't think IBM's money went down the drain.  They spent less than what it
cost to produce/air 5 superbowl commercials. They got oh-so-much-more from
that expenditure than the commercials would have provided.

And no money of Hsu's has gone down the drain yet, except for what it cost
him to negotiate with IBM for the rights, if that is what you are talking about.
No idea what that dollar value was, here...  But he just doesn't seem like the
combative type...
