Shearer I don't prefer 2800. It's as ridiculous as 3400. It's silly to talk about a rating of someone with a 12-game career against a single opponent. I understand you calculated the rating based on the second half of its career. If you take these number games seriously, then I will argue that Hsu's prediction was fulfilled, because based on Deep Blue's last game only its rating was 3200 at least. Of course, Chess Genius was already above 3000 in 1994. Amir
