I had a similar problem. When I first installed Fritz 6 it asked for the CD each time I started it, but only on the first day. Then it stopped for a month. On the one-month anniversary of the day I installed it, it asked for the CD each time I started it, then it stopped again the next day. I suspect this has something to do with the old refueling code. It may still be in there somewhere and it gets triggered by the date. Whatever it is, I hope the patch addresses it. Len
