They didn't do null-move, and didn't believe in any other sort of forward
pruning, so you can assume they didn't do it. 12 ply brute force takes a lot
more than 12 ply null-move. Mind you, most of us programmers believe not doing
forward pruning was a huge waste of silicon on their part.
