you had a good question .but i have played and tested rebel 8 on to century
.rebel has gotten better .i used to judge every new program by playing it myself
and then playing the program vs various chess computers , like sapphire ect
.rebel century has a style that to me is very boring but very strong .century
has not lost a game vs my chess computers ,rebel 8 has lost so did rebel 10 .i
wish rebel had an engine that could go inside hiarcs like all the winboard
engines ,i would buy it even if it were just an engine .if they did that people
could see how strong or weak rebel is  ,real easy .
