Yes, General ctg. is on the CD. Open the file selecter in Fritz6, find the book, then hit f11,(I'm not sure you have to do this, but it can't hurt)the book pane should appear, (if not, then find it in by clicking on Windows, & panes to show). Then use the command, 'copy tree to disk', and your book will be on the computer. The default place it installs, seems to be in, 'My documents', unlike in previous versions, where it installed to C:/windows/chessbase/Fritz5/books. But be shure to have at least 120 megabytes of extra disk space, or else! Personally, I wish Chess Base would include a smaller, general all-around book on their program CD's, exactly for us user's of older computers. And to think, I once thought 2 Gigabytes was a lot!
