The sound of Rebel comes from the internal speaker, not from the sound card.
I´m not sure why, but I have the same "problem".  I can hear it very faint.  It
looks like on faster computer the sound is shorter, some kind of loop inside the
program?

Anyway it doesn´t bother me at all.
