Well, yeah, if you make a better processor, it'll go faster than other processors. =/ It looks like this VLIW core can execute 4 instructions at a time, and they are similar instructions to the P6, except the P6 has an extra integer unit. The P6 also does out of order execution and speculative execution and so forth, so I can't really see the TM processors being any faster... -Tom
