Why is a fanfare necessary?  Should we also attach a .wav file to produce a

Personal opinion:
Never announce that you are going to plunge in the blade.  This place is an
irresistable magnet and you'll be back.  Then it will look a bit funny.  But if
you wait a couple weeks, everyone will probably forget.  It will only look funny
if you come back in two or three days.  Many of us have short memories.
