He quoted an article by J.H. Condon and Ken Thompson that describes in c-like pseudo code the basics of the search and q-search of Belle. This article is reprented in Computer Chess Compendium by David Levy. (Originally published in Advances in Computer Chess III) Now an aside. I ordered Advances in Computer Chess III through interlibrary loan. Unfortunalely, it and Advances in Computer Chess IV have the _same_ ISDN number. After getting the wrong book, I waited another 2 months for the right one. Amazon found me a _mint_ copy of Computer Chess compednium after a wait of about 4 months. Try ordering it as an out of print book or try interlibrary loan. William wbryant@ix.netcom.com
