Although we might dream of always getting a new version of a chess program with a minimum 30 elo point increase, the reality is these programmers sacrifice "blood, sweat and tears" for a 10-15 elo jump up in strength. For me, I'm very happy to witness baby step increments in playing strength, for one day these tiny steps are going to equal monster programs capable of defeating the greatest GM's. So for now, a 10 elo increase is always a welcome download from Rebel, Fritz, Nimzo, etc. Ron Norris
