Chessfun had asked for a couple of CCC Election statistics... Here is some data from the last three elections with partial data from the current election: Election #1 (06/01/98) - 190 voters Election #2 (12/30/98) - 209 voters Election #3 (06/23/99) - 281 voters Election #4 (ending 02/07/00) - 196 voters (through 02/03 at noon) Apologies to our overseas members who juxtapose the day and month (or maybe it is *us* who do the juxtaposing). We have over 9600 registered members (WITHOUT duplicates and aliases). We have had 2725 DIFFERENT members visit CCC in the last 6 months. The number of votes displayed on the election form is just that...the number of votes, not the number of voters. My guess is that 10% of "Active" members tend to vote. A further guess is that a DIFFERENT 10% tend to complain publicly about the moderators' decisions:-)) Steve (ICD/Your Move)
